They are a corporation with $8 billion a year in revenue. They try to focus on sustainability b/c it is the way of the future. Their products are extremely durable, and its lifetime is estimated at 20-30 years. The most common type of carpet is nylon. They produce Type 6 carpet only b/c it is the only kind that is sustainable. They carry residential and commercial brands.

Sustainability: Some of their new products are cradle to cradle. You can take their carpet, and recycle it into a completely new type of carpet. They use plastic bottles to create a durable, soft backing which is more durable than their original product that was not sustainable. They are eligible for LEED MR and LEED ID.
