Brief Description: a furniture company since 1938, they focus on the modern style furniture with the combination of art and technology. Architects and Interior Designers work together to form interior architecture rather than a competition. They carry the famous Barcelona Chair. They also create their own textiles for their furniture. Very famous furniture company.
Sustainability: One of their office suites (The Graham Collection) earned LEED platinum in 2007. This is used in USGBC's headquarters. They used recycled materials and certified and renewable resources. They are also GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality certified. Also part of CCX (Chicago Climate Exchange), a legally binding greenhouse gas reduction program. Their SMaRT chair also received LEED Gold.
