Brief Description: material is mainly in colors and textures, no distinct patterns. It has a slick exterior, so possibly dangerous. low in cost, so more affordable for people. Could be used a lot in commercial buildings such as general office buildings, healthcare, and even retail. It isn't the most pleasant looking and can come off boring b/c it's used so much.

Brief Description: used a lot in commercial buildings; very common; made of rubber; found in a variety of solid colors; very flexible and bendable; used where the floor and wall meet. exterior finish prevents gauging, scuffing, and most chemicals. Shape of the rubber base allows more regularity in wall shape. I don't particularly like these. They are very commonly found, but unattractive to a bland space.

Composition: has fire retardant adhesives and substrates, melamine resin-treated decorative surface papers, special kraft core sheets (used to obtain the desired thickness). All impregnated with phenolic resin. Comes in most Standard Line (DG1) patterns.

Manufacturer Info: made in layers and combined together to create the tile. Top layer is a wearlayer with high performance made of urethane aluminum oxide.

Brief Description: Have more of a variety of texture patterns instead of distinct shaped patterns. Aqualoc used to prevent discoloration or mold in the tiles from the subfloor. Has a surface of Quantam Guard HP, a wearlayer made with urethane aluminum oxide. These are used in commercial buildings. Has a rough textural feel on some because it helps prevent slippage on tiles. Though it has LEED and green attributes, I can't imagine the chemicals used to produce this floor can be ok for the environment.
