Brief Description: This is a lighting company that provides all types of commercial light such as emergency, recessed, suspended, and outdoor. They have low HID, incandescent, LED, and fluorescent fixtures. You can mount this on surface and wall, ceiling, steps and isles, etc.

They provide a type of fire proof casing for recessed lighting that protects from continuing the fire.

Sustainability: part of Day-Brite/Capri/Omega. They push for recycling of materials to create their fixtures with aluminum and steel. Their manufacturing plants try to use less packaging and repair their damaged pallets for reuse, and all metal halide and fluorescent bulbs are gathered for reuse. The attune family products provide an improved quality of the space through the lighting and 30-50% of energy savings compared with existing systems.

This product seems great towards LEED certification. I want to use this product in my gas station, because it will help with energy and atmosphere savings.

Brief Description: Originated as a small cabinetry shop in Italy in 1946. It provides Kitchens, Closets, and Bathroom furniture in high end residential. It's an Italian influenced company where they took Italian home influences and modernized it. Their design of the products looks very uniform, but still shows distinctions in the shapes that make up the whole. Very contemporary company. Each of their ideas has a distinct theme to it.

Negatives: Because this product is produced in Italy, it cannot be considered int he 500 mile radius for LEED regional materials and this could also prevent synergy credits.

Because it is for residential, there are no mentions of fire codes or ways of cleaning.

Sustainability: offers eco friendly products toward LEED certification for homes. Members of USGBC. Not much else is mentioned on sustainability.

Brief Description: International Company. Very durable products and great for my gas station! Beautiful colors, and very professional looking. Easy for cleaning. They offer porcelain tile, thin porcelain tile, and hydro core. You can create different patterns, or one holistic pattern. Surface sealers and finished not recommended.

Sizes: 4.25x13, 6.5x20, 13x13, 13x20, and 20x20. All products may vary with what is available in sizes. Formats can range from 1"x1" to 24"x48".

Cleaner: hot water and acidic cleaner. If maintenance procedures are not followed, warranty will be cancelled.

Warranty: 10 year structural warranty.

Sustainability: They offer a thin porcelain tile that is a lot lighter, so easy for travel for less fuel usage, and easier to install b/c of weight.

Brief Description: They have laminates that come in solids, woodgrains, patterns, and metal. They also come in different finishes with shiny or matted, textured or smooth. Used in commercial, residential, healthcare, or hospitality. This product will do great for areas where bacteria and germs could be a serious issue, because surfaces are uniformed without any crevices to trap the germs. Definitely a good product for my gas station. This will allow easy cleanup for employers and low maintenance. I plan to use this on all counters and food surface areas.

Brief Description: They have more than 100 years of experience of creating surfacing materials. Can create many different textures, colors, and looks that look just like the raw material product, but aren't! An example is wood. They make a thin sheet of laminate to appear like wood on the outside, but it's very thin and not as expensive as real wood. They offer free samples. Solid surfacing is manufactured in China. This product can be applied to bathroom partitions, doors, and counters.

Sustainability: Shipping costs could be cheaper for less fuel usage because it isn't as heavy and it's not a raw material like trees. Their laminate has met GreenGuard Indoor Air Quality certification including for schools and children. Companies that provide paper for Formica are certified under FSC, SFI, and PEFC. Products manufactured in North America contain 6-14% post consumer and pre consumer recycled content depending on the grade. Their product meets MR and IEQ for LEED.
